A peek at a photos from Mitch. He did an AWESOME job.
Not that I had expected less from him. ( There's a different one on my myspace, and I may post a different one in my xanga. )
We've been so busy, and not hardly even with the wedding stuff.
The vacation, our jobs.. the list goes on.
I still need my cousin Sam to try on a dress, everyone else has and I have their sizes.
I need to get Sean and his groomsmen to go get fitted for tuxes. Especially soon.
Sammy is coming by today and we're going to get some things ironed out for the bridal shower/Bach. party. More or less, things I do/don't want to happen in the day and night.

So I've found the bridesmaid dresses(finally.).

http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=1575&prodgroup=110

Had Sammy try on a few dresses, narrowed it down to two, then had Kelly come into town and try the two on, and narrowed it down to the one.

And that was that. Mission accomplished.

Nicole will be coming in to try one on so I can look at how it fits her, and Sam will either right before my vacation, or after.

Oh, yeah, by the way.

I'm going to San Diego for a week in November.

Sigh.

Sometimes I think it would be easier just to call off the event and book a trip to Vegas.

Warmness On The Soul

Your hazel green tint eyes watching every move I make.
And that feeling of doubt, it's erased.
I'll never feel alone again with you by my side.
You're the one, and in you I confide.

And we have gone through good and bad times.
But your unconditional love was always on my mind.
You've been there from the start for me.
And your loves always been true as can be.

I give my heart to you.
I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you.

And we have gone through good and bad times.
But your unconditional love was always on my mind.
You've been there from the start for me.
And your loves always been true as can be.

I give my heart to you.
I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you.
I give my heart to you.
I give my heart, cause nothing can compare in this world to you.

- Avenged Sevenfold

Alone at last, together in a photograph..

So I've been looking through some of our parent's old photos, picking some out for a slide show for the wedding.

I'd only seen a few of Sean's older pictures, and not many of when he was really young.
But there were a few things that came through my mind looking through them.
1. He looks soooo much like he did as a baby.
2. He looks an awful lot like his dad.
3. I want to have his children. I want to have a beautiful baby or babies with him, have little mini-us.

Looking at those photos showed me a whole side of him I've never seen, but knew it was there somewhere.

Just when I think I know the man, he throws me this sort of loop.

But looking into his past, hearing what he had to say about the photos, seeing a glimpse of what he lived made me fall in love with him all over again.

Is this Amanda being corny and lovey dovey? I guess so.

We've had many talks about children, and if it happens, it happens, but we're not going to try until we're more secure financially.

But, I have been bitten by the bug.

Also, if you have any photos of me and Sean, mind sending them to me?

manda.stone@hotmail.com

Toss them along that way.

Either that, or another photo you think I may want.

Rules of Engagement

On a first note, Congrats Amy!
Her and Kyle are engaged. :3

She mentioned it was a "Hey, we should get married" kind of thing.
Which is like how it happened with me and Sean.

I mean, come on. We were walking towards Fred Meyers in the parking lot.
It was the morning after the company Christmas party for ACHC/SKW, which we were out in Alyeska for.
No down on his knee. No ring.
Just "Hey, we should get married."
And a "Yeah, we should."

Which makes me think.
Why do we expect the Hollywood engagement?
The dramatic yes or no, the "special moment."

People say it's traditional that way.
But think of it this way, that's a modern tradition. Traditionally would be an arranged marriage when you're what, 13? Or running off to elope with some bandit on a stallion, or to be bought off from your parents.

That's "traditional."

I know. Hollywood has the whole razzle dazzle effect, throwing glitter, sequins and drama into everything to throw off from the main point.

And yet, people still expect the dozen roses in hand, a black box containing a ring, and a handsomely dressed man on his knee with musicians in the background.

I think I would have just been weirded out by it.
And I don't expect that from him.
I expect him to be who he is.
And a man from those dirty little novels every mom reads isn't him.

I guess if that's your digs, then go for it. I'm not saying it's wrong in any way.
It worked out for me how mine went, as I got to pick out my own ring.
Mm.. Tiffany.

But my name is Amanda Stone.
And I was engaged in a Fred Meyer's parking lot, on December 16th, 2007.

Busy Busy Bee..

I ordered some personalized napkins off the internet. Haha.
I also ordered some purple candy, need to find some green..

And uhh. Hm. what else have I been doing..

Fixing up the guest list, trying to get it finalized with addresses, names, number of attendants..

Making a list of music for the DJ..

I've been so busy without being busy at all. o_o

Never enough time in a day.
